On Tuesday, January 18 early access to registration for all Summer at Laurel 2022 camps and courses will begin for currently enrolled Laurel School families. On Monday, January 24 remaining spots will become available for general registration. Registrations will be accepted until camps are full; once full, registrants will be waitlisted in the order received. Questions? *IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION* Cleveland Museum of Natural History (CMNH) sponsored camps will be available for early-access registration for Laurel families and CMNH members ONLY from January 24-26 and then will open to the public on January 27.
With the health and safety of our campers and staff at the forefront, all planning and requirements with regard to Covid-19 will remain fluid so that we can adjust if and when needed.
The 2022 camp fees are reflected within each camp description. Payment may be made by credit card (MC, Visa, AMEX, or Discover). Full payment is due upon registration if a payment plan has not been selected. Refunds will not be granted after May 1, 2022. There are no prorated fees or refunds for campers arriving after the start of the session, leaving before its completion, or missing any time during the camp. A one-time $25 non-refundable registration fee per camper will apply at the time of registration.
Sign up for multiple week/sessions of camp and save! Participants will receive a total of 5% off each week/session of camp, when they register for two or more weeks/sessions. This discount does not apply to any partnership camps or courses and is specific to Summer at Laurel offerings only.
Camp Cancellation Policy
While it is always a last resort, Summer at Laurel reserves the right to cancel any camp due to low enrollment or for COVID-19 health and safety concerns. Should this happen, camp registrants will be notified immediately, and a full refund will be issued.
All participants have the right to a positive and safe experience while attending Summer at Laurel. As part of this right, campers are expected to follow and support our expectations of participation, positive attitude, and respectful behavior at all times. Behavior or language perceived by the Summer at Laurel Staff to be disrespectful, hurtful, unsafe, or threatening may result in camper’s suspension or dismissal from the program. This extends to any behavior that undermines our goal to create a positive experience for each individual attending our program.
Lunch & Snacks
All Summer at Laurel campers at the Lyman Campus and the Butler Campus will be provided lunch prepared daily by Laurel School’s culinary staff at no additional charge. Campers will, however, need to bring two nut-free snacks and a refillable water bottle to camp each day.
Shuttle service is available for an additional fee of $60/week for Summer at Laurel campers attending full-day camps at Laurel’s Butler Campus in Russell Township. The shuttle leaves promptly from Laurel’s Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights at 8:30 am daily and returns around 4:15 pm each afternoon. *Pre-registration is required and spots are limited.
Before-camp care and after-camp care is available at Laurel’s Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights for an additional fee. Before-camp care begins at 7:30 am and after-camp care is available from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm daily. The fee for before-camp care is $50/week and the fee for after-camp care is $70/week. Daily drop-ins for extended care will be charged $25/day. A fee will be charged for late pick-up. A nut-free snack is provided daily to all campers enrolled in after-camp care.
Summer at Laurel 2022 will not run any camps on Monday, June 20 or Monday, July 4.
